Ali Sheahan, MA, LMHC-t
Ali is a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents and adults. She has experience walking alongside individuals working through anxiety, depression, relational struggles, self-esteem, loneliness and stress management.
Ali works from an Adlerian theoretical orientation and believes it is important to look at individuals holistically. She discusses the different roles individuals play within their communities, how they are connected, how they find meaning and helping them discover their unique strengths. She focuses on building a safe space for clients to share openly and honestly, meeting them where they are at.
In order to meet the unique needs of each client, Ali works to assist them by using a variety of different strategies including: mindfulness, strengths based, assessing values, and Play Therapy. Ali also enjoys working with youth in individual and group settings during her off hours.
